I have snuck in a few times and done it, it's a great little climb, I wish it were "legal" though, any chance of this happening?
It's the only real climb anywhere around here...PLEEEEEEZE?

That's illegal.  If I see you doing it your mine.  Go to the Blue Heron Bridge.

I KNOW it's illegal, I'm asking if it can be made NOT illegal, or at least tell me WHY it's illegal. You gotta understand I'm from Colorado, I need to CLIMB baby!

Hobe Mountain is a protected landmark that has historical significance to the park.  I know it’s an old paved maintenance road and riding up asphalt doesn’t seem like a big deal, but the question has been asked before and the answer has always been a resounding “no”.  We have significant leeway in the park, Hobe Mountain is an area we can keep off of.

About a mile north of the park, east of US1 is a little side road that has a steep access road that goes to a water tower.  Climb that.  OR Jenson Beach has some hills, or you can do repeats in Rivera Beach. Or Dyer park.

I can't ride up Hobe Mountain but they can burn down half of the damn park. Whoever made that decision should be arrested. Park ranger..yeah right. Arrogant irresponsible jackasses.
